The team

Sangeeta holds a Bachelor of Laws and two Master’s degrees in Law from National Law University in India and from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Sangeeta has lived and worked in India, the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands. Sangeeta is admitted to the bar in India. Having in-depth experience in international business law and in advising clients on cross-border commercial and contract matters, Sangeeta is part of our Commercial unit.

Fay holds a Bachelor of Laws from Juridische Hogeschool in Tilburg. She has experience in the socio-legal and digital technology domains. Fay specializes in corporate housekeeping, international mobility and compliance matters and is part of our Corporate and Mobility units.

Carine holds a Master of Laws (international employment law/social security law) from Tilburg University. Having been part of our team for almost two decades, Carine is familiar with the ins and outs of the firm. Carine is part of our Mobility unit, advising and assisting with international assignments, visa applications and work permits for various countries, she’s also responsible for drafting international employment and secondment agreements.

Emre holds a Bachelor of Laws degree, a Master’s degree in Private Law, and a Ph.D. in Private Law from Istanbul University. Emre has been a member of the Istanbul Bar Association since 2017. He has extensive knowledge of private international law, contract law, and commercial law and specializes in drafting and negotiating cross-border commercial contracts. Emre is part of our Commercial unit.

Madeleine holds a Master’s degree in Dutch Civil Law from the University of Amsterdam and a Master’s degree in International Maritime and Transport Law from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Prior to joining us as legal counsel, Madeleine worked amongst others as an IP and IT attorney at law with major international law firms in Amsterdam and as deputy director with the Dutch Competition Authority (ACM). Since mid 2025, Madeleine acts as of counsel, providing ad hoc assistance and advise on international commercial legal issues.

Ahmet holds a Bachelor of Laws from Marmara University, a Master’s degree in Economic Law from Galatasaray University, and a Master’s degree in Law and Technology from Utrecht University. Having thorough experience in court proceedings and in advising clients on international corporate and commercial matters, and being qualified as a licensed mediator in Türkiye while admitted to the bar there, Ahmet is part of our Corporate and Commercial units.

Robbin holds a Bachelor of Translation in the English language from Hogeschool West-Nederland in The Hague. Robbin is our office assistant, he has been educated in-house, is responsible for management of our contracts database and provides services associated to corporate housekeeping and compliance matters in general. Robbin is part of our Corporate and Commercial units.

Hans holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He is the founder of our firm. Combining 35 years of experience in advising clients on cross-border corporate, commercial and mobility matters with the overall responsibility of our offices and operations, Hans is part of everything. He frequently speaks on seminars about doing cross-border business.

Astrid holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Hoge Hotelschool in Maastricht. After having fulfilled various managerial positions in the hospitality industry, she joined the firm a quarter of a century ago. Astrid is our office manager and heads our accounting department as well as our back office.
