Travel to the EU; prior authorization required

On November 16, 2016, the European Commission presented a plan applying prior registration requirements to non-EU visa waiver travelers

This plan states that non-EU nationals do not need a visa to enter the EU (e.g. Brazilian, Canadian and US nationals). Registered data will be checked by Europol and national customs agencies when seeking entry into the Schengen zone. Similar registration requirements already exist in the USA and Canada (re. other article in this news bulletin).
